  though it is true that one conversation or one jw bombshell will unlikely rock a member from the cult, we are all here as a result of leaving or realising the lies we were fed, doubtless all the bombshells we heard or considered contributed to us leaving.. there seems to be a lot of apathy here at the moment that facts and information are not enough to convince a jw of the lies in watchtower.. this is not true.

  even if one missile does not bring down the wall, it contributes to its fall.. information empowers people, it is the most valuble asset in the war on cults.

  it may not sink the boat immediatly, but we know it springs leaks.

  Taking Elders Out of their Comfort Zone; The Little Room

  in the mid-90's my wife faced a bogus charge of gossiping.

  the charge was based on a fleshly sister of a jw easedropping on a conversation.

  we fought the charge with the elders unable to produce any credible report of the actual conversation.

  the main guy in the cong, they call them coordinators now or something, used to be called po right?....anyway, this guy kept reading from a different bible and seemed like he was trying to get others to do the same....."the living bible" ?

  could this have something to do with the rumors about phasing out the nwt?

  The Living Bible by Byington was actually printed by the WTS in the 70's, he was a good friend of Freddie from what I heard. So who knows if it is old light or noolight?

  I haven't been to a DC in a decade. When did they start having the public talk in the morning on Sunday, and the drama in the afternoon?

  My guess is that too many people left after the drama, so they changed it around.

  with the new pope franciscus in mind, i was thinking about our new gb member mark sanderson.. how is our mark chosen to be one of the 8 members of the gb / fds?

  are there internal headhunters at the watchtower hq?.

  what is his cv?

  When you leave, you have to reevaluate everything that you ever thought was true. I started with "Is the sky really blue?"

  You need to ascertain whether you have a spiritual need, or if you are just trying to fill the huge void that losing your religion left you with. It will take a while for you to figure out the answer. Just listen to yourself.
